1945 ASTURO-MEC S.r.l. is established. Producer of spray guns and compressed air service guns. Established at CALCIO (BG)
1946 WALCOM WALLY S.r.l. is established. Producer of spray guns, under pressure tanks and compressed air service guns. Established at TREZZANO sul NAVIGLIO (MI)
1985 CALEDONIA S.r.l. is established. Producer of accessories raccords and compressed air service guns. Established at SUSEGANA (TV)
1988 Participation exchanges between ASTURO-MEC S.r.l. and CALEDONIA S.r.l.
1991 ASTURO-MEC / CALEDONIA di WALCOM WALLY S.r.l. group purchase.
1995 WALMEC S.p.A. is born with the joint venture of three companies. The two commercial labels with which the companies are introduced to the market are defined: ASTURO-MEC Do it Yourself, Hardwork tools, Tool shop, Paint shop; WALCOM for the industry and body works. Established at CALCIO (BG).
1996 The company achieves the UNI EN ISO 9001 certification.
2001 Opening of the new establishment in S. LUCIA di PIAVE (TV). New Research and Development centre, where besides the new Managing and Commercial offices, production cycle stages are increased
2003 Walmec’s production plants are expanded with the addition of hot pressing machinery for magnesium, a light metal (1/3 of aluminium) with high performance, for a new innovative technological challenge that has always distinguished the company.
2007 The company expands its market range with the addition of safety work shoes (equipped with an innovative foot aeration patent) and WEISSENFELS chains and accessories, a traditional hardware brand granted to Walmec.
2008 Walcom-USA, the American subsidiary for professional bodyworks products, was established in PORTSMOUTH (R.I.).
