1945 - 2005: Our Company has a sixty-year history, sixty years of constant growth in the difficult panorama of the compressed air market, of innovation and improvement, of new products and new ideas to make our customers’ work more efficient and productive; Sixty years started in 1945 with Asturo-Mec srl and Walcom Wally srl, continued in 1985 with the integration of Caledonia srl and in 1995 with the merger of all the abovementioned companies under the sole name: WALMEC S.p.A.

The merger of these three traditional market leaders opened new and more innovative roads, focusing on expert and professional personnel, investing in continually more modern, efficient and precise machinery, able to guarantee the most important component for a manufacturing company: constant quality.
A Company, therefore, based on certified quality, first with UNI EN ISO 9001 and then, since 2002, with VISION 2000.

The new headquarters, inaugurated in 2001, are fully operative and have permitted significant evolution and an increase in production standards promoting quality and efficiency. Continual investments in more advanced machinery, continual research of new products and the constant improvement of existent ones have made Walmec a consolidated, innovative and reliable manufacturer.

We have been supplying the compressed air market with the largest product range since 1945, providing quality to do-it-yourself, professional, crafts and large industry painters; manufaturing 98% of our products in-house, proud to manufacture MADE IN ITALY also in a moment when import does not only represent an exception of the market’s offer, but a constant.
